Hello and welcome!
We’re Robbie and Sonja, your hosts here at Tequila Moon. Our story with this beautiful area began over 40 years ago, shortly after we were married. We fell in love with the natural charm and peaceful pace of life — so much so that we made the move a few years later and never looked back.
Robbie is a retired engineer who enjoys an active lifestyle. You’ll often find him on the tennis court, bowling green, or golf course — and when he’s not out and about, he’s either going for a run or relaxing with his guitar in hand.
Sonja is an advocate and still practices law, but she always finds time for the things she loves: gardening, reading, interior decorating, and going for her regular runs. She has a wonderful eye for detail, which you’ll see reflected throughout Tequila Moon.
We’re both passionate about nature and the slower, more meaningful rhythm of life it brings. Sharing this slice of paradise with others brings us great joy — whether it’s recommending a scenic walk, a hidden beach, or a perfect spot to catch the sunset.
And of course, we must introduce the real star of the show — Barnaby, our beloved Old English Sheepdog. He’s gentle, friendly, and always happy to greet new faces (or take a nap in a sunny spot). We look forward to welcoming you and hope you feel as at home here at Tequila Moon as we do.
